Joe Rosenberg is an Associate Member of The Piano Technician’s Guild.
An experienced Piano Tuner, Joe has assembled a team of piano technicians experienced in all levels of piano design and construction, specializing in the restoration and rebuilding of vintage American and European pianos, especially Steinways, Yamahas, Baldwins, Mason & Hamlins, etc.
Personal expertise includes action rebuilding and touchweight design utilizing modern component parts balancing systems (Stanwood balance weight method–see blog), soundboard design, manufacturing and installation, bridge and scale design and modification, and all aspects of piano servicing.
Joe’s customers include many well known performing artists, pianists, recording artists, performance venues, theaters, concert halls, recording studios, schools, houses of worship, etc. etc., as well as many individuals who love their pianos and have Joe tune them on a regular basis.
